We support programs that connect individuals and families with critical resources and services essential to self-sufficiency, including financial empowerment and workforce development.
Goal: United Way commits by 2021 to reducing the child poverty rate by 10% in Danville and Pittsylvania County.

Goodwill Industries Workforce Adjustment Training program provides training and career opportunities for people with barriers to employment who live in our service area.
Virginia Legal Aid has a mission to resolve serious legal problems of low-income people, promote economic and family stability, reduce poverty through effective legal assistance, and champion equal justice.
The Arc of Southside M.T. Sorrell program seeks to promote human rights of people with intellectual disabilities and helps participants learn the skills needed to actively support their full inclusion in the community.
